Enjoy the very realistic casting and fly fishing action as you catch Brown, Cutthroat and Rainbow trout on one of the most gorgeous rivers around. All fishing scenes are real photographs of the Green River, not computer drawings. You'll have to set the hook (quickly or that fish is gone) and play these trout out keeping an alert eye on your line tension as the larger ones will make run after run before their possible landing.

If you're experienced at fly fishing and have selected the proper equipment for the conditions, you won't have any trouble hooking fish. If you're a novice, success will take a bit longer. You'll be able to learn the tricks of the trade such as selecting the proper flies for the time of year, false casting, line mending techniques and the secrets of fly presentation. Decent casting will take practice, it's not just a push button casting system here.
Be prepared to hook up with some large trout. The Green River is famous not only for an abundance of trout, but also for their size. There's a 30 pound Brown lurking in the waters of this game. She's not easy to find, but if you do, hang on for a 30 minute fight if she doesn't snap your leader first. Folks with a force-feedback joystick will have each fish tugging the toggle as you reel them in. Can't get more realistic than that. The game plays just fine using a mouse but don't let that 30 pounder jerk the mouse from your hand.
